As of August 2021
The Government has now relaxed the rules around Covid and social distancing and previously mandatory club guidance now no longer applies.
Nevertheless, we should all remain vigilant and cautious in our dealings with other people around the airfield.
Do not travel to the airfield if you have displayed Covid symptoms in the last 7 days, been tested positive, or have been in close contact with anyone who has displayed symptoms or tested positive.
If you develop Covid or test positive subsequent to a visit to the airfield, you have an obligation to let the club know at once.
Use of face masks and sanitisation spray in cockpits is down to individual judgement and either crew member has the right to request use of masks.
Individual instructors have the right to refuse to undertake training flights or trial lessons if they deem the Covid risks to their own health unjustifiably high.
Whilst trial lessons have resumed, it remains recommended practice to question visitors’ Covid status prior to flying.
If you have a voucher for a trial lesson or a short course, please check this page from time to time to check on our ability to welcome you for your flight.
This page will be updated as the situation evolves, but if you have any urgent queries then please contact the club for assistance
